Pueblo Indian making pottery by Count Je Syaak (Edmond de Szaak Hungarian 1887-1942). This great large oil painting of a Pueblo Indian making and decorating pottery in an outdoor setting. This painting is in the style of Edwin Crouse and this painting was commissioned for the Thompson Theater in Tahlequah, OK where it hung for close to 50 years. The painting is dated 1933 with a size of 40x33in and an overall dark frame of 44 x37in. Signed in the obverse Tahlequah, OK (Western Capital of the Cherokee Indians). Very good condition.
