Description:

1) U.S. 1840 Artillery Sword, 37 3/4" OAL, 32 1/4" blade dated 1863 (makers marks illegible), brass guard, wood grip, metal scabbard. Grip wrap absent, heavy pitting. With papers attributing the sword as a Civil War bring-back by a soldier in the 11th Maine Volunteers. 2) M.C. Lilley Staff & Field Sword, 35 7/8" OAL, 30 1/8' etched blade, gilt brass guard, leather grip, nickel scabbard. Good. 3) Henry V. Allen & Co. 1902 Officer Sword, 33 1/4" OAL, 27 3/4" etched blade, nickel finished guard and scabbard. Good. 4) U.S. Ames Naval Cutlass, 31 3/4" OAL, 25 3/4" blade dated 1862, brass guard, leather grip. With a damaged/incomplete leather scabbard. Fair.
