A 25-year veteran of the knife trade, Tomberlin earned his Master Smith rating in 2009. 1) Drop-point knife, 14' overall with an 8 1/4" blade, 3 3/4" false edge, and "BRION" on the left ricasso. The oval guard is Damascus steel with a smooth contoured one-piece burl walnut grip. With a brown leather sheath marked "MASSEY" on the rear. Very good with a few brown spots on the blade, a double strike on the maker's mark, and light handling marks overall. 2) Master stamped Damascus push dagger, 7" overall with a 3 3/5" wide 4-finger grip. The blade is 5 5/8" with a 1 1/2" ricasso marked "BRION/M.S." and 4 1/8" spear point edges. The grip is smooth one-piece dark hardwood with a single nickel pin. Excellent with minor handling marks.
