Description:

This commercial revolver was manufactured in 1860 and is hand inscribed "J E Strother" on the butt. The research states that Josephus Strother was a private in the Co. A of the 9th Regiment of Georgia Volunteers and lost a foot at the Battle of Gettysburg.
