Measuring 31 1/2" tall, 22 3/4" wide and 19 1/2 " deep, the safe is of thick steel construction, finished in black enamel, and fitted with a thick steel wheel at each corner. The face is decorated with a raised rope pattern with flowers at the corners, painted gold and red, around the door. The door itself is decorated with two oval panels, "UNION PACIFIC/1869" with an elk on top, and a steam train driving away from a wildfire on the bottom, and the brass dial hardware bears the Sargent & Greenleaf address and patent markings. The interior measures 10" deep, 10" wide and 16" tall, with a locking drawer and two wood shelves in the left half. Very good as repainted overall, with some light wear and handling marks overall. The interior is missing one shelf for the right side, and no key is included for the drawer. Combination is included.
