Description:

The revolver was manufactured in 1883 and has "NW" carved on the butt of the grip. The holster is a Mexican double loop and has tooled borders. The books are both marked for Newton F. Watson on the front. Consignor notes indicate these items belonged to County Clerk Newton "Newt" Watson. He rode with Bill Tilghman, Jim, and Tom Masterson in 1888 to recapture records for a $1,000 reward.
