This is one of the new manufacture suppressor/silencer manufactured by the GEMTECH Company in Boise, Idaho. This item was manufactured with the LID (Linear Inertial Decoupler) device that aids in cycling the handgun action and fitted with a adapter specifically designed for the HK-23 handguns and has a M16 X 1 (RH) thread adapter. Constructed from an aluminum tube and baffle system that features a type III class 2 anodized exterior finish. Complete with the original matching box and instruction manual. New and unused with the internal grease still visible in the end of the suppressor. NOTE: This item is listed as a “Suppressor/Silencer” that, although not an actual firearm, is still restricted as a National Firearms Act (NFA) item which is currently registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (BATF&E). These items (suppressors/silencers) are defined under 18 U.S.C. Sec. 921(a)(24) and require ownership and transfer under the National Firearms Act under 26 U.S.C. chapter 53.
