Gilt brass hilt, with a woman's bust on the obverse languet, lion head pommel and quillion, the Saxon coat of arms on the guard, and a wire wrapped ray skin grip. With an iron scabbard. Scabbard is rough, sword is good. 2) WKC Kaiserliche Marine Sword, 35 1/2" OAL, 30 1/2" etched blade, brass hilt with folding guards, lion head pommel, antique ivory grip, silver portepee with red trim and a leather scabbard. Good, with some spotting and wear.
