1) Horstmann & Sons 1840 Heavy Cavalry Sword, 41" OAL, 36" blade, nickel scabbard. Wire is broken but present. Good overall. 2) Reproduction Ames 1840 Sword, 40" OAL, 34" blade. Rough. 3) German-Style Officer Sword, 36" OAL, 31" etched blade, brass hilt, black enamel sheath. Likely reproduction, later etching, generally fair. 4) "Sportsman" Brand 1902 Army Sword, 37" OAL, 31 1/2" inch blade etched "MAJOR MAHLON RINEHART/MAY 28, 1936", nickel fittings, metal scabbard. Very good overall. Rinehart has not been identified. 5) Foster (Chicago) Sword, 36 1/4" OAL, 30" etched and gold washed blade, gilt brass hilt with folding guard, metal grip, and iron scabbard with elaborately sculpted brass furniture. Good overall. 6) Hilborn-Hamburger U.S.N. Sword, 34" OAL, 29" etched blade, gilt hilt, ray skin grip, golden sword knot, and leather covered scabbard with belt. Very good.
