Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1876 (remarked serial number). Left side of barrel marked "44" above the New Haven address. Consignor states chambered in .44 Russian. Receiver has a dash, star and dot border along with a star, eagle/shield and flag motifs on the left side and eagle grasping "Death to Traitors" banner and star and stripe shield motifs on the right side. Mounted on a musket style forearm.
