Description:

1) Koto-attributed blade in shin gunto mounts, 33" OAL, 21 3/4" blade with slightly wavy hamon and attractive grain, light gilt accents on the furniture and a leather covered saya. Tang is unsigned with two mekugi-ana and a well aged appearance. Some light spots and splits on blade, otherwise good overall. 2) 35" OAL, 24" blade with faded wavy hamon, iron tsuba, leather covered saya. Tang is well aged, with a single mekugi-ana and a 4-figure signature on the left side, attributed as the koto-era smith "Yomato". A bit rough, some signs of cleaning.
