Intended for issue to the Southern Australian Colonial Police, only around 310 Smith & Wesson New Model #3 "Australian" revolvers were manufactured. A mixed numbered stock is included, with a "broad arrow" stamped nickel mounting iron, a "SW" monogram on the checkered hard rubber butt, and a brown leather pouch marked "(broad arrow) 76" on the interior.
