Produced at an unknown date, this pistol features a 1900-style frame in combination with a "fat" 9mm barrel, as well as the spurious "GL" monogram on the rear toggle link. While not documented, the "GL" is traditionally the personal mark of Georg Luger, and represents weapons made under his own personal supervision, typically advanced prototypes, presentation-grade items, and similar items of high prestige or importance.
