Good as sharpened. 2) Ames 1860 light cavalry sword, 41" OAL, 34 3/4" blade marked "US/J.F/1865" on the right ricasso, gilt 2-branch guard, wire wrapped leather grip, and iron scabbard with remnants of hangers. Good, with blade slightly bent at the tip. 3) Unmarked NCO-style sword, 38 1/2" OAL 32" wire etched single fuller blade, brass hilt with folding counter-guard, leather scabbard. Scabbard rough, repaired, blade fair with pitting. 4) Unmarked NCO-style sword, 37 1/2" OAL, 31 1/2" diamond cross-section blade, brass hilt with eagle motifs and folding counter-guard, sharkskin grip. Blade rough.
