Manufactured around 1843-1863 with a 20 5/8" blade marked "HORSTMANN/& SONS" on one side and "PHILADELPHIA" on the other, 27" OAL, and a leather scabbard with brass fittings. Condition: Fine with a pitted and chipped blade, attractive dark patina on the brass, and moderate wear on the leather.
