This Krieghoff Luger has subsequently been re-numbered in the "P" serial number range to resemble the Luger described on pages 228-229 of Gibson's Krieghoff Luger book. It has a blank chamber area, Krieghoff anchor marking on the toggle, "Heinrich Krieghoff/Waffenfabrik/Suhl" marked on the left side of the frame, commercial "Crown/N" proofs, double struck five-pointed star on the right side of the barrel extension and nickel plate/aluminum base magazine.
