This is a custom recreation of a DWM Model 1906 "Russian Contract" Luger pistol. This example has been painstakingly recreated to look like a Russian Contract M1906 Luger. The top of the chamber has been re-engraved with a crossed "Mosin Nagant" rifle with the extractor and rear frame area also re-engraved with the early Bulgarian/Russian cyrillic markings for "Loaded and Safe". It has the new style 1906 type "coil spring" frame with the grip safety and no stock lug. It has the standard "DWM" marked toggle with the serial number "987" on the front of the frame and underside of the barrel, with no other markings or proofs. It has the standard 4 inch configuration barrel in 9 mm Luger. It has walnut grips and comes with a early commercial magazine that has the tin-plated body with the wooden base that is stamped "Cal 9m/m" in script.
