OD - VERY GOOD- all original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised.

Description:

Manufactured 1876-1877, with an illegible added mark on the right side of the ejector housing, "R.F. ENEWOLD" (indicating noted gunsmith/collector Robert Enewold of Nevada) stamped on the grip frame under the left panel and a lightly tooled brown leather "Mexican loop" holster. With consignor notes regarding the Schofield in both period and modern use, which also attribute the revolver as a former Wells Fargo Express weapon.
