Description:

Robert Farrington Elwell (American, 1874-1962). Stallion jumping over a grounded tree trunk limb somewhat similar to the famous Colt Firearms Rampant Colt. The stallion's two front hoofs are above the ground while the remaining two hoofs rest on the ground temporarily. Signed Elwell on the obverse bronze base side. Dimensions: 20x24x9 inches Weight: 40 lbs. Very good with minor storage wear.
