The 1828-1894 bronze sculpture is of a standing buffalo with a magnificent coat of hair by Alfred Dubucand. The bison shows great rack of curved horns standing on the prairie. The bronze is on an oval marble base. The sculpture and base measure 18" long, 8 1/2" wide, and 13 1/2" tall and it is signed by the artist on the front of the sculpture on the bronze base. The most impressive bronze sculpture of a buffalo. Very good.
