The tang has a single mekugi-ana, "962" machine stamped on the left side and an "anchor" stamp on the right. Good. 2) Signed Japanese sword, 29 3/4" OAL, 20" blade with a very active hamon, rayskin covered saya with black laquer fill. The tang shows two mekugi-ana, with an untranslated signature on the left side. Fair fittings and a good blade, with a visible skin split on the right side of the blade.
