1) Japanese blade, 19 1/2" OAL, 13" blade with single fullers and straight hamon, round iron tsuba with gold floral decoration, floral menuki and a black lacquer saya. The short tang shows a worn signature on the left and three mekugi-ana; consignor notes attribute the blade to c.1334-1450, with "Kunimasa" as the signature. Saya rough, blade good. 2) Japanese tanto-length knife in aikuchi fittings, 15" OAL, 10" blade with a wavy hamon set in a copper habaki with gilt fu dog menuki on the grip and a black lacquer saya. The grip has not been dismounted; consignor notes mention no signature. Good overall.
