Description:

Both swords feature curved blades, cupped brass guards, wire wrapped grips and leather scabbards. -A) "NJ" marked Ames cutlass, 31 7/8" OAL, 26" blade dated 1861, "NJ" on the left ricasso, "3M/217" on the guard. With a black rawhide frog. Fair, with mild wear and spotting. 2) Ames cutlass, 32" OAL, 26" blade dated 1862 and marked "U.S.N./D.R." and "P/GG", "18M/150" on the guard. Both are fair, with mild wear and spotting.
