1) U.S. Ames Model 1840 heavy cavalry sword, 41 1/2" OAL, 35 1/2" blade, brass hilt, metal scabbard. Blade polished, otherwise fair. 2) Unmarked sword, 36 5/8" OAL, 32" blade, gilt stirrup guard hilt, metal scabbard. Blade polished, otherwise good. 3) Springfield Armory officer's sword, 39" OAL, 34" etched blade, nickel finished scabbard, belt hanger. Good.
