Description:

1) Mumei Koto period attributed wakizashi length blade , 21" OAL, 16" cutting edge with wavy hamon and shirasaya mountings. 2) Type 98 style sword, 34" OAL, 26 1/2" cutting edge, three mekugi-ana, two cherry blossom menuki, gilt tsuba, silver hawk feather mon kabutogane, WWII style saya. Both are fine or better with minimal wear, some nicks, skin splits, dents, areas of spotting and generally attractive aged patina.
