The consignor indicated it is Germanic and dated it to circa 1500 and stated it has an original working life shaft. The head has piercings and an armorer's mark. The shaft is mostly wrapped in fabric secured by brass tacks. Condition: Fine with moderate overall wear appropriate to its age.
