The included factory letter confirms the current configuration including the special order half octagon barrel, half magazine, set trigger, Lyman front and receiver sights, X walnut pistol grip stock, shotgun butt with Silver's recoil pad, and sling swivels. It also lists receipt at the warehouse on 5 August 1901 and shipment on 20 August 1901 in order number 103094.
