Description:

1) 1862 dated Emerson & Silver Model 1840 NCO sword with 31 3/4" straight blade. Fine with staining and patina along the blade and aged patina on the hilt which has a partially bent guard. 2) Ames Mfg. Co. small sword with 29" straight triangular etched blade, one folding languet, patriotic motifs on the hilt, wire wrapped grip, and plated scabbard. Fine with dark mottled gray and brown patina on the blade, aged patina and grease staining on the hilt and some flaking on the scabbard. 3) Officer's sword with 29 7/8" lightly curved and patriotically etched blade, brass floral pattern hilt, and ribbed wood grip. Fair with dark brown along the blade which has a blunted tip, minor cracking in the grip which has the wire absent, and aged patina on the hilt. 4) Horstmann Model 1840 Musicians sword with 27 3/4" blade and brass hilt. Poor with welded break in the blade which has mottled patina and dark aged patina on the brass hilt.
