Description:

Probably most or all imports. Each has a leather sheath with brass hardware. 1) Sword with 30 3/4" straight blade with patriotic etching, F.W. Widman of Philadelphia marked silver plated brass hilt, and pearl grip. Very good with mostly bright blade with distinct etching and a few minor spots of discoloration, strong silver plating in the inside of the languet along with "1" twice in marker, aged patina on most of the hilt, loose wire wrap, and minor cracks in the grip. Poor sheath with paper wrapped stabilization, absent throat and crackled and flaked leather. 2) Saber with 28" curved blade with gold accented etching, silver plated hilt, ribbed horn grip, and "13" in marker on the suspension band of the sheath. Good with a mix of dark brown/gray patina, pitting, and lighter gray patina on the blade along with some edge wear, dark aged patina and traces of silver on the hilt, and mild wear on the grip. The sheath is fair with absent throat, dark aged patina on the fittings, and crackled and flexed leather. 3) Saber with 28" curved blade with gold accented etching, silver plated hilt, and ribbed grip. "7" in marker on the throat. Fine with mix of niter blue, gold, and dark gray patina on the blade, aged patina and traces of silver on the hilt, and mild wear including a slight age crack on the grip. The sheath is fair with absent drag and crackling. 4) Saber with 27" curved blade with martial and floral etching, ribbed grip, and "4" in marker on the throat and left languet. Fine with mostly bright cleaned blade with mild nicks and pitting, light aged patina on the hilt, and minor age cracks in the grip. Fair sheath with crackled and flaked leather.
