Description:

5,700 manufactured from 1830-1836. Provenance: The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. They received a collection from Simeon North's great-grandson Ralph H. North which can be seen in the article "The Origin of Interchangeable Parts" by Thomas Coulson from 1944 and are likely some of the examples shown in North's book "Simeon North: First Official Pistol Maker of the United States."
