Manufactured around 1856-64. Very limited numbers of this variation were produced. Included factory letter states records are unavailable. With modern partitioned case containing period accessories ("L" shaped combination tool, 3-piece cleaning rod, J. Matthewman powder flask, package of .44 caliber combustible envelope cartridges, "COLT'S/PATENT" marked dual cavity bullet mold, lead rounds, Eley cap tin, plain brass capper, A.W.
