Manufactured c. 1905 with raised matted concave rib signed “W.W. GREENER. MAKER. 68. HAYMARKET LONDON. WORKS. ST. MARY’S SQUARE. BIRMINGHAM. ENGLAND,” single extractor, bolstered treble grip action signed “W.W. GREENER,” Greener patent cross bolt, Greener side safety with inlaid “SAFE,” light border and scroll engraving, Birmingham nitro proof marks, Greener “Elephant” trademarks, and figured 14" walnut straight hand stock including rubber recoil pad, raised Monte Carlo comb, and panels of multi-point checkering to the grip and forearm, the latter with Deeley and Edge fastener and dark horn tip. The butt with silver oval initial escutcheon engraved with an "F." Barrel measurements (R/L) proved at 28/28, measuring .552/.553, 2 1/2" chambers, cylinder/improved modified chokes, minimum wall thickness 0.040/0.032. Weight 5 lbs. 1 oz.
