Description:

Receiver manufactured April 1944. SA "11 64" barrel. "NM" marked op rod, rear sight, and windage knob. Bedded stock, unitized handguard, "RRAC/4-65" arsenal marked receiver leg. Consignor attributes the work to David W. Ransberger, USMC Gunnery Sergeant, armorer and competitive shooter, and in civilian life owner of Cal Custom Guns in Fallbrook, California, where the work was reportedly performed. A set of DCM sales paperwork from 1985 is also included.
