OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.
Shown on page 344 of "American Military Shoulder Arms, Vol. 3" by George Moller. These were only manufactured in very limited numbers during the Civil War. With a non-compatible bayonet with writing stating it may be an altered Model 1816 bayonet and a leather sling. Provenance: The George Moller Collection
