Description:

1) Hiawatha Indian Chief and founder of the Iroquois Confederacy bronze statue. This tall Native American Indian Chief is depicted standing erect wearing just a loin cloth around his waist & shoulder, three feathered head dress, with one arm folded across his chest. He is in a peaceful pose as to greet fellow Indians for a meeting in the woods. Unsigned with dimension of 9"x9"x34" and rests on a 1" thick circular marble plinth, weight is approximately 29 lbs, in very good condition. This is the Indian that was written about by Henry Longfellow in his book "The Song Of Hiawatha". 2) Geronimo Indian Chief of the Navajo Indian Nation bronze statue. This tall majestic depiction shows Geronimo standing upright in a defiant pose dressed in native attire holding a rifle across his chest using 2 hands to grasp the rifle which looks like a Springfield rifle. He stands on a circular marble plinth, unsigned, with dimensions of 33"x16"x40", weight is approximately 34lbs, & in very good condition. Geronimo after his captivity by the Army was paid by many admirers of him to autograph items as well as pose for pictures & more likely acted as a model for this bronze statue.
