Description:

Manufactured 1912 in the first serial number range of the U.S. Navy contract. Right of the frame is stamped "DEL", a marking noted to indicate issue on the battleship U.S.S. Delaware. Serial number 737 is noted in "U.S. Military Automatic Pistols 1894-1920" by Meadows as issued to the U.S.S. Delaware. The slide is a Springfield Armory replacement with the "S" within flaming bomb marking, which are often incorrectly linked to A.J. Savage manufacture.
