Robeson Cutlery Co. M3, desirable early "U.S. M3 R.C.CO" marking on right flat of blade, 11 1/8" OAL, 6 3/4" spearpoint blade with sharpened false edge, leather washer grip, includes a "1943" dated U.S. M6 leather sheath with steel reinforcement plates. Very fine, the blade retaining most of the blue finish, showing some evidence of light sharpening, some scattered very light oxidation on/near the guard, and otherwise minimal wear. The sheath is fine showing some mild wear. Provenance: The Steven Preston Military Collection
