The included factory letter states this 1911 pistol was shipped to the Naval Supply Depot in Sewalls Point, Virginia on November 16th, 1939 in a 520 gun shipment. Short milled checkered trigger, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, checkered arched mainspring housing, "COLT 45 AUTO" and "G" marked barrel with "P" proof, and unmarked two-tone magazine. Also includes a large professionally made custom wood display case, Camillus U.S.N. Mark 2 fighting knife with leather sheath, World War II Navy officers book, Navy history book, World War II Bluejackets manual, fifty round box of .45 ACP ammunition, two keys, whistle, and an assortment of World War II medals, ribbons, and pins.
