Manufactured in 1950. Left side of receiver marked "WASHINGTON/STATE/PATROL". Includes documentation of purchase in 1985 from Col. Mel Pfankuche of Kirkland, WA who estimated that about 30 of these carbines were purchased by the Washington State Patrol as well as Winchester-Western Hunter's Pocket Guide booklet.
