Description:

37 1/2" OAL, 32 1/2" wire etched blade with "GR" royal cipher on the right side, a wire wrapped leather grip, gilt hilt, and a sculpted horse head pommel. The cipher pattern would be appropriate for King George I (regnant 1714-1727). Good overall, with some pitting and rust on the blade. Provenance: The Collection of Joe M. Wanenmacher Jr
