Fair overall, moderate oxidation and pitting, signs of sharpening. 3) French Model 1816 Artillery short sword, 25" OAL, 19" blade marked "TALABOTT 1832/ PARIS". Good overall with moderate oxidation throughout. 4) U.S. Model 1832 Artillery short sword, 25" OAL, 19" blade marked "UNITED/STATES/1839/JH" and guard marked "MS". Fair overall with heavy pitting throughout and chipped point.
