Description:
1) Signed Japanese sword, 32 1/2" OAL, 22" blade with wavy hamon, military fittings and a black lacquer saya. One mekugi-ana, with an 11-symbol signature on the left side of the tang and 18 symbols on the right. Very good, with minor blade spotting and handling marks. 2) Shin gunto pattern sword, 37" OAL, 26" blade with jagged hamon, shin gunto fittings. One mekugi-ana, with a 3-symbol signature on the left side of the tang. Significant pitting at tip, mild spotting elsewhere on blade, fittings good.
