Description:

1) "Where the Best Rider Quit" bronze by C.M. Russell depicting a cowboy attempting to gain control of his bucking bronco. The horse is shown mid tumble as the animal crashes rearward onto its back with the rider's left foot stuck in the stirrup. The piece is signed "Charles M. Russell/1920" to the left of the horse and rider with "ASCi Collectors/all rights reserved" marked where the horse is about to land. The piece rests on a marble base with a brass plaque reading "WHERE THE BEST RIDER QUIT/BY C. M. RUSSELL". Measurements 20"x21"x12". 2) "Rattlesnake" bronze by Fredric Remington depicting a cowboy holding on for dear life as his horse is startled by a rattlesnake on the ground below. The piece is signed behind the duo "Fredric Remington". The bronze rests on a marble base. Measurements 16"x24"x10".
