Manufactured c. early 1890s-1912. Features a single bead sight on a barrel marked "GAULOIS" followed by a crossed cannon and arrow proof. "No./1" marked on the dust cover. Caliber markings and St. Etienne logo on top of the frame. Five cartridge counting holes on the left with a 3-position safety switch.
