Description:

Manufactured 1874. In his included letter Colt expert and author John Kopec states the revolver was refinished at the Colt factory (Colt refinishing no. 185 stamped on a number of components) and then refinished again at a later time, grips are replacements and drilled for two grip pins, and first style ejector modified to be used with a barrel stud, but stud never fitted.
