1) English-style bowie, 14 1/2" OAL, 9 1/4" blade with "DEATH TO ABOLITION" on the left side, German silver fittings, and a smooth horn grip. Blade shows shallow pitting and cleaning, hilt good. 2) Unmarked D-guard bowie, 14 3/4" OAL, 10" single fuller blade, iron guard, bone grip. Fair, with a deep, dark patina and mild pitting.
