Consignor attributed as the work of a Johannis Coll of Solingen c.1580-1600. 54 1/2" OAL, 39 1/2" straight double edged blade with single fullers and "crowned hammer" logo on the ricasso. The hilt features broad upswept guard arms, smooth round grip, and a thick disc pommel. Weight is 5 pounds, 5.4 ounces. A leather back sheath is included. The grip is showing some dings and seam separation, otherwise good overall.
