Description:

Original barreled rechambered to 7mm x 8mm Rem mag. The standard Model 700 action had been converted to a left handed configuration with a custom maple stock. Gold plate engraved "CHARLES ASKINS" on the forearm bottom. To quote Cameron Hopkins of Tactical Life "Col. Charles Askins was a gunfighter, lawman and soldier who proved how thin the veil can be between sociopath and professional." Askins served as a Border Patrol agent during America's "Gangland" Era, served in World War II in the United States military, and worked as an advisor to the South Vietnamese army. He is also credited as being the first person to get a confirmed kill with Smith & Wesson's then new .44 Magnum revolver. Following his Border Patrol and military service, Askins began working as an combat instructor where he began using more realistic size and shape targets.
