Description:

The first portrait shows a young Confederate soldier in a gray jacket with gold highlighted buttons, watch chain, and belt buckle and lightly tinted cheeks. A Colt Model 1851 Navy revolver is tucked in his belt. The case under the portrait of the first photo appears to have the man's name and hometown or unit. They are difficult to read. The name appears to be "B. R. Goodrich." A man by that name served in Company E of the Confederate 6th Tennessee Infantry and was killed at Chickamauga. The second line appears to read "Spring Creek," and the lasts appears to be "Tenn." The second portrait also has some minor tinting and also appears to be a Confederate. The paper behind the portrait have very faint markings. Both portraits are very good with distinct images and mild wear. Their cases are fair with only the portions containing the portraits present and the end torn on the second.
