OC - FINE- all original parts; over 30% original finish, sharp lettering, numerals and design on metal and wood; minor marks in wood.

Description:

The included factory letter confirms the caliber, finish, and barrel length when the revolver was shipped to Kernaghan & Baer on February 27, 1897. The letter also states that there is a known revolver of the Gus Peret Collection with grips similar to these. There is also a letter from Colt dated 1932 asking Mr. Peret to send in photographs or the gun itself for examination due to a word of mouth story telling of the fine grips on the revolver.
